Repair and replacement for a devices
You can a book a repair for your defective TomTom devices. It is recommended to try if troubleshooting can get the devices running again. See: TomTom Guides for troubleshooting.
If you have a defective accessory, you can request a replacement for the accessory. Follow the instructions below.
Booking a repair from retail page:
- Go to Submit a request on the TomTom Retail Portal.
- Tap Select a category and choose Book a repair.
- Fill in the form.
A copy of the invoice is required to verify the warranty of the device. Include that copy inside the box along with the products that you send for repair.
Once the repair is created, a repair number is provided for your reference. You can contact our support for any repair related queries.
Direct repairs:
If you have direct access to your own tool, you can book the repair yourself. Purchase details, serial number, model name, address and phone number are required. Once the repair is created, a repair number is provided for your reference. You can contact our support for any queries.
Note: For out of warranty devices, repair charges are applicable. Click here to check warranty of the device.
Once the repair is booked, an email is sent to your registered email address with a payment link for the repair fee.
Accessory replacement:
- To book a replacement for an accessory, go to Submit a request on the TomTom Retail Portal.
- Tap Select a category and choose Request a replacement accessory.
- Fill in the form and click Submit.
A copy of the invoice is required to verify the warranty of the device. Once the replacement is created, a replacement number is provided for your reference.
Device is not working on arrival:
If the purchased device is not working or defective on first activation (DOA), we recommend contacting the distributor or retailer of your purchased products to get further assistance. DOAs are only valid when you return the defective products within 14 days from activation.
Note: A copy of the purchase invoice is required to verify the purchase of the device.
